Logbook : of the Elizabeth (Brig), 1769 January 8 - 1774 July 12.

Under master James Leitch, the Elizabeth made four round trips to Hampton Roads, Virginia, and the James River from Cadiz, Liverpool, and Glasgow. The ship made short voyages to the Mediterranean and Spain and one from Virginia to Philadelphia. Each day the time, course, winds and other weather conditions and coordinates were recorded along with distance in miles traveled. The last page of the logbook contains poetry and quotations.
